Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP
Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP

The Atoll brand is one of the best inflatable SUPs available and is well-loved by the paddlers. I had tons of fun testing it. And a couple of things stood out for me.

The Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP balances speed, stability, and maneuverability.

It glides quick enough to impress a professional paddler yet remains comfortable and remains for the average beginner.

Its size and streamlined design make the Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP one of the most versatile inflatable SUPs. Anybody can use it for almost anything.

In this Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP review, we detail what the paddleboard is all about. Is it the correct SUP for you?

Who should purchase the Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP?

As mentioned, the Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP can do it all. Most paddlers will love it, including heavier riders, yoga enthusiasts, families, and anybody looking for a top-quality board. Bigger SUP paddlers will want a paddleboard with a significant weight limit.

And the Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP stands out in this section. It permits single riders up to 400lbs. It has also been successfully water tested at 700lbs with many riders. Regardless of your size, you can bring your pet, gear, partner, or kid.

For yoga lovers and new paddlers, stability is essential. You’ll be comfortable on a board that does not wobble and one with a big enough surface for your poses.

Thanks to the weight limit, paddlers can now bring their child or partner for the company. This is an excellent way to make unforgettable memories while doing a fun workout.

I’ve paddled this paddleboard with my son. Together we weigh around 300lbs. I did not have problems like sagging or riding low in the water.

In terms of where to ride, the Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP will be great in most water waves. You can use it in the ocean, calm lakes, and slow-moving rivers.

Design

One thing I love about this paddleboard is its sleek and clean design. It’s gorgeous. No bold prints, and the colors are muted.

The paddle is available in other colors army green and desert sand, and aquamarine. Many paddlers love the light blue, myself included.

It looks adorable and super exceptional. These muted colors are ideal for outdoorsy riders who’ll love the way colors blend with nature.

Build Quality

The Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP is built using machine-laminated double-layer PVC material.

It’s the most substantial and light material available for making SUPs. The board also features Korean Drop Stitch technology.

Almost each blowup board you come across will be made using PVC material. You might be led to think that their quality is not different. But there is a reason why some are affordable, and some cost more – or why a few last while others don’t.

The building technology and the number of PVC layers matter. The Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP features advanced double-layer PVC construction.

This military-grade builds results in a top-quality SUP that can take a beating. The manufacturer also provides a two-year warranty that allows confidence on their part. Want to know exactly how durable the board is?

The excellent construction of the Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP improved rigidity and made it simple to hold 700 lbs.

What is even more interesting is the weight of the SUP. Despite being that rugged, it only weighs 21lbs. One of the lightest boards you’ll come across carrying is so simple. Even my kids have no issue taking the board among them.

Performance

To start with, I was not even slightly disappointed with how the Atoll Light Blue Inflatable SUP is flat water.

Given its body shape, this paddleboard is meant to knife via the water with that pointy edge nose and trapped tail like a knife via a cake.

The Atoll is an ideal option for long-distance paddling or any other activity because I found it to be highly versatile and super responsive. It is also balanced and solid, thanks to its vast body. It is better recommended for intermediate skill level riders since it is pretty sporty.

Special Features

The standard feature set on any OK paddle board includes precisely what the Allot board has. Though, I do not find the Atoll board to be decent. I find it pretty great. To begin, the primary thing I always notice about any paddle is:

  • The traction pad – this one is a diamond grooved foam pad that comes almost two-thirds of the paddle board’s back. I think that this feature is an important one for Inflatable SUPs because it means they are solid and more functional.
  • You will also find a set of fifteen stainless steel d-rings that come in handy for different paddlers. Six d-rings are on the SUP’s board’s front and are connected with a solid bungee cord, one D-ring on the tail, while the rest are fixed on both ways.
  • Two carry handles also feature to assist you in carrying the board after inflating it, one of which is central while the other is on the SUP’s tail.
  • A tracing system is vital for a paddleboard that aims to enhance the speed aspect like the Atoll board. A triplefin set is given to this paddleboard with the possibility to remove the giant central fin for simple packing.

What I don’t like

  • It is not necessarily a drawback, but new paddlers might take some time getting used to this paddleboard since it targets speed. Like any other board, we make sure that you will find yourself doing just good after a couple of tries and rides.

Hello, I'm Tom Leithner, a true enthusiast in SUP boards. I'm writing this blog to help you select paddleboard and give you important information that you might miss in the sea of boards. I'm a big fan of getting out in the water and enjoying the outdoors. I've been supping for years now, and I'm enjoying it every day. For me, paddleboarding was just an idea before it transformed into a passion, and through that process, I have learned so much about this amazing sport.
