The canyon’s key attractions are Bridal Veils Falls, the Sundance mountain ski and resort area, the Provo River, and Deer Creek Reservoir, a 2700 acre body of water used throughout the year for swimming, boating, fishing, ice fishing, and SUP boarding experience.

Rock Canyon

Rock Canyon is a highly famous urban forest that draws 1000s of visitors each year.

Placed less than ten minutes away from central Provo, the canyon is packed with hiking trails, amazing geographical formations, deep caves, and special plant and animal life.

Rock Canyon is also house to the Squaw peak trail, a challenging and fun hike that leads to the 7,876-foot summit of squaw peak.

Provo Pioneer Village

Provo Pioneer Village provides visitors a flavor of early life in the city. Founded in 1848, Provo start as a little, isolated outpost occupied by Mormon pioneers.

The pioneers learned to trust the harsh land for all their physical needs.

At Provo pioneer village, visitors can view a collection of preserved buildings and shows, including many pioneer homes, a school, a granary, a working blacksmith shop, a general store, and more.

The village also homes some covered wagons and handcrafts.
