Waikiki Beaches
The key attraction of Waikiki, by far, is the sand strip along the oceanfront.
Waikiki has a beach series, almost all of which are perfect for water sports and swimming.
The beach starts in the west Kahanamoku beach, named after the popular Olympic swimmer, quickly in front of the Hilton Hawaiian village and extends to Sans Souci Beach at Diamond Head in the east.
They overlap one another so perfectly that visitors find them Indistinguishable. Kahanamoku beach is separated from Grays Beach by a narrow channel.
This charming park, which King Kalua gave to the city and now bears his wife’s name, divides Waikiki from the little residential place on the southwest of Diamond head.
Kapiolani Park is Honolulu’s oldest public park and is also the top loved.
It contains family attractions, adding the Waikiki Aquarium and Waikiki zoo.
Still, the key highlight for adults is the Queen Kapiolani Garden, which is house to a charming assortment of flowering plants.
The garden contains plants from Hawaii and other parts of the globe, including rare Hawaiian locations.
